About You MD² Santa Monica is hiring a temporary seasoned Registered Nurse, with outstanding medical skills as well as exceptional interpersonal skills. This is a temporary position (about 4-6 months) with the potential to be a contract-to-hire position. A Day in the Life In this position you will work with two other medical staff members to perform various primary care tasks in addition to clinic administrative duties, with the goal of delivering unparalleled experiences to your patients, at each and every touchpoint. Some of your responsibilities would include: Greet patients at the door and assist them throughout their appointment. Ensure the highest level of empathy, kindness and understanding in delivering patient care. Contribute to the professional atmosphere of the office, from your attire to your communications. Maintain the strictest level of patient confidentiality. Work in unison with your colleagues and physicians to deliver the highest level of operational and clinical standards. Ensure effective, ongoing communication between practice physicians and staff. Develop relationships with key specialists in order to facilitate patient care. Requirements Job Requirements: Must be a seasoned nursing professional (5+ years); primary practice / clinic experience is desired. Appreciation of the unique nature of our practice model and related demands. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and highly developed ability to actively listen to others. Ability to draw blood with ease. Ability to perform or become proficient with spirometry, EKG, audiogram and stress tests. Ability and willingness to comply with company and industry operational standards and requirements. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Aptitude for operation and troubleshooting of computer software programs. Ability to work as an effective member of a small, tight-knit team.
