St Joseph's School Payneham is seeking for skilled and dedicated Temporary Relief Teachers (TRTs) to join our school. We are looking for educators who can step into classrooms with confidence, maintain a positive learning environment and deliver high-quality teaching aligned with our school values. Role Details Under the direction of the Deputy Principal, the Temporary Relief Teacher will provide classroom supervision and deliver prepared lessons across Preschool to Year 6. Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment; follow school policies, routines and behaviour expectations; work collaboratively with leadership and support staff as required. Be available for short-notice and pre-booked relief days. Essential Requirements Current teacher registration with TRB. Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC). Current RRHAN‑EC / Mandatory Reporting training. Early Years qualifications (for Preschool TRT only) Strong communication and classroom management skills. Ability to adapt quickly to different year levels and learning needs. Selection Criteria Actively supports the Catholic ethos of the school and be willing to participate in all aspects of school life. Has experience and/or is committed to working with students who have needs. Has an ability (and willingness to learn) to implement positive and supportive behaviour strategies. Has a friendly, positive, collaborative, and supportive approach to working with others. Has sound organisational skills and abilities and is proactive in their time management.
