We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee shall mainly assist the project team in the research project “Development of a Novel Aptamer-Based Biomarker Detection Platform for Precision Diagnostics and Personalised Healthcare”. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Performing standard molecular biology and analytical procedures, including DNA extraction and purification; Designing and executing PCR assays and primer validation; Conducting enzymatic digestion and related biochemical experiments; Assisting in data collection, basic statistical analysis, and documentation of experimental results; and Supporting general laboratory operations and maintaining accurate experimental records. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related discipline; Practical experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, and enzyme-based assays will be an advantage; Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment; and Basic data analysis and computer literacy skills are preferred.
