We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Science and Technology: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee shall mainly assist the research team in a research project "Integrating Chemical Profiling and Bioactivity Evidence to Prioritize PFAS in Urban Stormwater” (R6943). He / She will be responsible mainly for the following: Providing laboratory and technical support to facilitate project implementation; Performing environmental sampling activities and routine sample handling; Supporting literature review and data analysis; Working with the Principal Investigator / supervisors to prepare report writing; and Conducting other research activities as instructed by the Principal Investigator. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related discipline; Experience in laboratory-based analytical work, with familiarity in instrumental analysis (e.g., LC-MS/MS, GC-MS) and routine sample preparation is preferred; Detail-oriented, hardworking, responsible, self-motivated, able to meet deadlines and work independently; and Very good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
