JOB SUMMARY

A computational research position is available in the Kasinath Lab Research Group in the Department of Biochemistry at University of Colorado Boulder.
Deep Learning for Microscopic Image Analysis. The Vignesh Kasinath Lab is seeking a research student to contribute to cutting-edge research in deep learning and medical computer vision. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on foundational models for microscopic image analysis, focusing on electron tomography imaging data. The intern will assist in developing large foundational vision models, optimizing training pipelines, and building cloud-based infrastructure to support model training and deployment.
This internship is ideal for graduate students, advanced undergraduates looking to gain hands-on experience in deep learning for medical imaging. The research position can be extended to include Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 depending on performance and interest.
