Job description:
Would you like join a wonderful team in a rural office set in landscaped gardens in Barton St David? Our family sheepskin business means the world to us and we need someone to join us as we expand.
Our Sheepskin workshop in Barton St David (10min drive from Street/Glastonbury) is looking for a new part time member of the team. We are looking to fill a temporary role (for the next 3-4 months). This will likely end mid to late January.
We make and sell sheepskin footwear, clothing and homeware via our website, we champion British wares, personal service and excellent customer service.
We require a reliable, punctual, conscientious member of the team to help. The role will be starting ASAP once a suitable candidate has been found to enable training to be given.
The role would be for 2-3 mornings a week. Usually to include a Monday.
Our Workshop opening hours are generally:
8:30am - 2pm Monday to Friday, during October to January

Main Duties will include:

  • Packing customer orders - this will require attention to detail, speed and common sense.
  • Quality control - Checking new stock thoroughly
  • Labelling stock - Barcodes/labels applied to newly made stock
  • Tidying/cleaning stock rooms

Desirable skills:

  • Competent computer skills
  • Familiarity with online shopping/packing orders
  • Willingness to answer phone

£12.21 per hour with room for promotion
