Description

We are seeking a dedicated Patrol Security Guard for a construction site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment by patrolling the site, monitoring potential hazards, and assisting in loss prevention efforts. A vehicle will be provided for patrol duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a security guard or in a similar role, preferably in a construction or industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Knowledge of legal guidelines for site security and public safety.
  • Experience with surveillance systems and basic security equipment.
  • Ability to observe and report hazards or security risks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional security or safety certifications are a plus.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Previous experience in construction site security or loss prevention.
  • Strong understanding of construction site risks and safety standards.
  • Proficient in surveillance methods and report writing.
  • Ability to identify building issues such as cracks or potential structural risks.
  • Experience with emergency response and incident management.

  • Document any unusual or suspicious activities, including incidents related to theft, accidents, or safety violations.
  • Ensure all construction personnel are complying with safety protocols and wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Capture and maintain photographic evidence of site conditions to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Respond to emergencies, providing necessary assistance and notifying relevant authorities as needed.
  • Protect the site from theft, fire, and other potential risks.
  • Assist with reporting to management on safety concerns or incidents.
