QUALIFICATIONS

  • Successful completion of a two-year diploma in Computer Science or related field
  • One - three years of work experience in a technical/support role
  • Demonstrated technical skills, troubleshooting and data analysis skills
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle processes and standards
  • Excellent technical and programming skills with experience in one or more of SQL, Linux, Cerner CCL, Java, PHP
  • Demonstrated understanding of large complex relational databases: Oracle, MySQL, MS*SQL,
  • Good understanding of system administrator tasks to support applications, e.g. Linux, Windows Server
  • Excellent computer skills with productivity tools (MS Office) and source code management (GIT)
  • Experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium an asset
  • Strong QA and testing methodology with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, team members, and non-technical staff
  • Ability to change directions, priorities and focus from one project to another with minimal loss of productivity or quality
  • Teamwork is essential to achieve the highest level of success, while you must be able to work independently, you must also be able to work as part of a collaborative team
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service and meeting strict deadlines
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Overtime and possible on-call coverage may be required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety
