Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of two years of experience in student engagement, leadership development, civic learning, or related co-curricular programming
  • Experience working with diverse student populations, including first-generation and international students
  • Experience large-scale managing events, with strong planning, organizational, and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging a wide range of technology platforms to support event planning, student engagement, communication, case management, and collaboration, including but not limited to Microsoft 365, Teams, social media tools, and cloud-based systems. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and digital tools in a dynamic environmen
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Student Leadership and Engagement Programming Coordinator is responsible for designing, implementing, and assessing student leadership initiatives and campus engagement experiences that promote holistic student development. This position leads key leadership development efforts, including workshops, retreats, and speaker series, and serves as the campus liaison for the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). The Coordinator plays a central role in planning university-wide traditions and signature events such as Welcome Weeks, Eagle Fest, and heritage celebrations, while also supporting student recognition programs and civic engagement tracking. Reporting to Student Affairs leadership, the Coordinator works collaboratively across departments to create vibrant, inclusive, and developmental engagement opportunities for all students.

OTHER ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support leadership in managing allocated budgets, promoting responsible and strategic use of resources.
  • Develop, implement, and report on assessment plans to inform program improvement.
  • Contribute to university and divisional annual planning processes and strategic reviews.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by university leadership, adapting to evolving priorities and needs.
