As the Supported Employment Training Coordinator, you will help increase employment for people with disabilities across Alaska. Through facilitation of the Supported Employment and Self-Employment training courses, you will assist professionals to be better prepared to support people with disabilities to seek and maintain meaningful jobs. You will also collaborate with a dedicated group of 40+ employees at the Center for Human Development, working towards our mission of improving the quality of life for people who experience disabilities and their families. Supported Employment and Self-Employment training courses are delivered via live online sessions. This position may be worked in person in Anchorage, as a hybrid in-person/remote, or fully remote.
To be successful in this role, the applicant will be knowledgeable about employment supports for people with disabilities in Alaska. Additionally, the applicant will have experience with supported employment, training facilitation and curriculum development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, human services, or a related field and two years of related experience, OR an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Supported employment certification is preferred.
