Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We’re seeking an experienced UI/UX designer for a temporary part-time role to revamp the customer-facing interface of our Bookvault platform. You’ll work closely with our internal teams to identify pain points, address user feedback, and create design solutions that improve usability and customer satisfaction.
This role is primarily remote but will require periodic in-person meetings at our Peterborough office to collaborate with the wider team and review progress.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Audit the current Bookvault portal and identify areas for improvement based on customer feedback and support queries.
  • Redesign the UI with a focus on clarity, accessibility, and visual consistency.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes for key areas of the portal.
  • Present and explain design concepts to stakeholders and gather feedback.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  • Iterate based on internal reviews and, where appropriate, customer testing.
