We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant who can support our busy warehouse supplying all 50 of our Garden Centres.
This position is a hands-on role working in our Frosts Distribution Centre where you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient process of all incoming stock from door to floor. This is a physical role which includes unloading containers and picking orders to send to our Garden Centres.
Experience of working in a similar warehouse environment, along with forklift and power pallet truck licences, are desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Our ideal Warehouse Assistant will:

• Have the ability to work under pressure at a fast pace in a team or individually and have a degree of flexibility.
• Have experience of working with a computerised stock management system, using handheld devices to scan barcodes on goods.
• Have a high level of accuracy
• Be physically able to unload containers
• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Ensure all orders and are picked, wrapped and labelled accurately ready for despatch.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks and maintenance.
• Have a good working knowledge of standard IT applications, specifically Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
• Any other duties required by the Warehouse Manager
