We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Assistant & Driver on a 5 days per week temporary contract at our small warehouse in Aylesford.
We are a Christmas lighting company and need someone to assist in our warehouse and make deliveries to customers during our busiest time of year September - December.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, friendly, hardworking and punctual, with a full clean driving license to drive the company van.
Responsibilities include:
· Basic Warehouse duties inc. moving pallets and unloading deliveries
· Driving company vehicles to make deliveries
· Driving Transit van between Kent & Cambridge warehouses
· Delivering and collecting lighting products large and small
· General housekeeping of work areas to maintain clean and tidy work area
· Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks
Note: The role requires an 8 hour working day, usually between 9am-5pm. Some evening deliveries will be required, with working hours adjusted accordingly.
Job Types: Temporary, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: From £2,250.00 per month
