TEMPORARY WORKS DESIGN ENGINEER

Are you a detail-oriented and driven engineer seeking to join a well-established, yet growing, engineering firm where you’ll play a key role in the design and delivery of real-world projects across the UK?
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Temporary Works Design Engineer to join the team, where you will be responsible for planning, developing and overseeing complex projects.

YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Good communicator able to work with internal stakeholders and customers
• Experience in a civil engineer, structural engineer or mechanical engineer role
• Degree in a relevant engineering field
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Able to work as part of a team and independently

• Understanding diverse engineering challenges and designing the solutions
• Using AutoCAD to illustrate solutions and plans for internal and external stakeholders to implement
• Engineering calculations to ensure all plans and designs are safe and reliable
• Working with end customers and internal stakeholders
• Producing pricing estimations for projects
• Ad hoc project work
