REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience in temporary works design within a consultancy or contractor environment.
Working knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Chartered or working toward chartership (ICE or IStructE) is desirable.

Deliver temporary works designs across a range of projects, including:
Piling platforms.
Crane bases.
Deep excavations.
Façade retention.
Formwork and falsework.
Needling and propping.
Some permanent works.
Liaise directly with clients and contractors to understand project requirements.
Take ownership of design tasks, working both independently and collaboratively.
Contribute to the technical quality of deliverables across all stages of design.
Assist in mentoring and supporting junior engineers, where appropriate.
