Education, Training and Experience:
Post secondary training - a diploma in human social service field with six months related experience or an equivalent of education, training and experience is typically required for this position.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Tenant Support Worker (TSW) is responsible for providing a range of support services to identified tenants (1) Nexus Place tenants and their children who have left abusive relationships and who are at risk of violence; (2) identified tenants who are requiring life skills supports to remain successful in their tenancies; (3) senior citizen tenants to organize and plan activities that encourage community engagement. The TSW will create programming based on individual and group needs. The TSW will strive to create a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere to encourage and promote tenant health, wellness and opportunities to set and achieve personal goals.
