Your role

As a Tender Engineer for our Energies & Water division (pipeline construction), you share responsibility for the entire tender and qualification process in the Benelux, and you also support the international tender team.

You work closely with a multidisciplinary team consisting of Legal, Finance, Insurance, and QSHE, among others.

Your goal? To successfully help manage tender processes within time, budget, and quality limits.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Analyzing the client request (pre-qualification and tender request) and external services of Denys Group;
• Developing creative variant implementation solutions and innovative techniques with the tender team and the future execution team;
• Identifying and leveraging opportunities to improve execution cost, execution time, or quality and safety;
• Consultation with legal, financial, and insurance departments and translation of their advice into the quotation;
• Assisting in following up on the award process after submission, incl. communication with clients;
• You assist in organizing a successful handover to the project leader and the execution team;
• Preparation of cost calculations, planning, risk matrices, opportunity registers, and other tender documents;
• Drafting the execution plans and the associated 'EMVI' documents;
• You report to and collaborate with the Tender Manager Energies & Water and the Business Unit Manager Energies & Water;
• Maintaining contact with subcontractors, suppliers, and partners is also part of this.

Your profile

You are a strong analytical thinker.

You keep a cool head under pressure, communicate smoothly, and feel at home in an environment where ambition, innovation, and collaboration are central.

In addition, you are:

• Deadline-oriented;
• Commercially minded with a sense of balance between cost and quality;

And do you have:

• A Master in Engineering or equivalent through experience;
• Initial experience with tendering within a technical environment;
• Experience with MS Office, and preferably knowledge of Primavera and CAD software;
• Very good command of Dutch and English, and knowledge of French.
