To complement and strengthen our International Project Acquisition / Tender Management team, GITEC-IGIP GmbH is seeking a dynamic, multilingual professional (m/f/d) to join us at our headquarters in Cologne, Germany. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

  • University Degree in a relevant field such as International Relations/Studies, Business Administration, Intercultural Communication, Development Studies, or a Language/Translation qualification
  • Alternatively, a comparable qualification in multilingual project assistance or project management
  • Very strong language skills:
  • Excellent command of English and French (spoken and written) is essential.
  • Additional language skills (Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, or German) are a strong asset.

Responsibilities

DEPARTMENT CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identification of suitable tenders on the market and analysis of tender documents (Terms of Reference / ToR) to determine fulfilment of administrative and organisational requirements to assess whether to proceed with a tender
  • Communicate with national and international partners, subsidiaries, funding organisations, clients, and project staff to ensure all tender requirements are met.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all administrative documents prepared and received
  • Formulate non-technical proposal components (e.g. description of project personnel, quality management, logistics) in the project language
  • Format documents to the highest quality standards using Microsoft Office products
  • Compile and submit the final EoI / offer documents
  • Manage and maintain relevant data and databases

MAIN DUTIES IN THIS POSITION

  • Analyse tender documents (Terms of Reference / ToR) to assess administrative and organisational requirements
  • Ensure close coordination and clear communication with internal departments, including technical and administrative teams
  • Coordinate Expression of Interest (EoI) and tender preparation teams, both internally and internationally, managing timelines and ensuring smooth collaboration
  • Maintain professional communication with national and international partner companies, financiers, clients and project staff
  • Prepare and submit high-quality tender documents, ensuring all deadlines, formatting, and compliance standards are met.
