Role Summary The Tender Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of government and institutional tenders in KSA, ensuring timely, accurate, and fully compliant submission of bids through national procurement platforms such as NUPCO and Etimad. This role is positioned as a customer support and pre-sales function, focused on execution excellence, governance, and cross-functional coordination. The Tender Manager plays a critical role in protecting revenue, compliance, and customer confidence. Key Responsibilities Tender Management & Execution Manage the full tender lifecycle, including identification, documentation, submission, clarification handling, and award follow-up Prepare, compile, and submit tender documents via KSA government and semi-government procurement portals Ensure full compliance with commercial, technical, legal, and regulatory tender requirements Coordinate site visits, technical evaluations, and layout submissions as required by customers and tender authorities Cross-Functional Coordination Act as the central coordination point between Sales, Customer Support, Technical Teams, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and approved partners Ensure all internal inputs are collected, validated, and approved within agreed timelines Enforce governance where third-party partners operate under Thermo Fisher Scientific’s leadership and oversight Customer & Stakeholder Support Support customer-facing teams and senior management with tender-related documentation, updates, and risk assessments Maintain professional and structured communication with procurement bodies and internal stakeholders Prepare tender summaries, execution plans, and next-step recommendations for senior management discussions Governance, Reporting & Risk Management Maintain accurate tender trackers, submission records, and audit documentation Proactively identify risks related to compliance, documentation gaps, or timelines and escalate early Support post-tender reviews to capture lessons learned and continuously improve tender execution Qualifications & Experience Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or a related discipline (preferred) Experience Proven experience managing government or institutional tenders Hands-on experience with KSA tender portals and procurement processes Experience working in matrix organizations with multiple stakeholders Skills & Competencies High attention to detail and documentation accuracy Strong coordination, follow-up, and deadline management skills Ability to work under pressure with fixed and non-negotiable submission deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills English required; Arabic required (fluent in both) Thank you for your interest as you consider starting a new career journey with us.
