Description
Job Purpose Co-ordination and management of cost and commercial information compiled into a formal offer, and the management of costs fed from other departments to ensure timely creation of pricing information. Creation of tender submissions based on the pricing workbook and from customer schedules of rates. Key Accountabilities • Study the Tender Document • Prepare the letter of Bid or No Bid • Review Bid Bond Request for tenders. • Attending site visit and opening for the appropriate tenders • Review and handling the ISO Documents. • Prepare the time schedule. • Review the administrative submittal • Prepare site visit report • Answer to pre-qualification file requests • Read and understand customer’s RFQs and specifications • Understanding the RFT, deciding timelines and responsibilities • Review of drafts and effecting improvement • Methodologies and executive summaries • Responsible for costing the offer • Coordinate with other departments on achieving the tenders requirements. • Write / prepare the offers in compliance with client formal requirements. • Attending National & International Exhibits to expand Supplier Database. • Acting as Company’s Contact Point for Customers during bidding process. • Attend negotiation meetings with customers. Qualification & Education: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a well-known university. Years of Experience: 7-10 years of experience in Tendering or proposal. Language: Fluency in English. Another language is a plus. Computer skills: Microsoft office
