As a Teppanyaki Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes on a Teppanyaki grill, engaging with guests, and delivering an exceptional dining experience with authentic flavors and presentation. Responsibilities Prepare and cook Teppanyaki dishes on the grill, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor. Engage with guests, demonstrating cooking techniques and providing excellent customer service. Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas. Assist in menu development and ingredient selection tailored to Teppanyaki cuisine. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Manage inventory and ordering of Teppanyaki-specific ingredients. Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Teppanyaki Chef or in a similar role specializing in Japanese cuisine. Strong skills in Teppanyaki cooking techniques and presentation. Excellent knife skills and knowledge of food safety standards. Ability to engage positively with guests and create a memorable dining experience. Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Flexibility to work in a diverse and dynamic environment. Willingness to relocate to the Democratic Republic of Congo for this position. As per the market standards
