Position Description:
The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at DePaul University in Chicago invites applications for a full-time term faculty position (non-tenure track) with teaching responsibilities commencing in the Fall of 2025.
Successful candidates will be expected to teach a variety of courses at the undergraduate level including lectures and labs in general chemistry, chemistry courses for non-science majors, and courses in DePaul’s Liberal Studies Program. Candidates may also be assigned upper-level electives in chemistry or biochemistry based on their expertise.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

  • PhD in chemistry or related discipline

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience teaching at the college level
  • Experience teaching both in-person and online Chemistry courses
  • Experience teaching in a liberal arts environment that emphasizes close faculty-student interaction
