RESPONSIBILITIES: - To manage, support, and optimize the Terminal Operating System (TOS), ensuring stable operations, effective user adoption, accurate operational data, and successful delivery of system enhancements that support terminal performance objectives. Ensure that safe working practices according to PTP policies and procedures. Ensure stable, reliable, and secure operation of the Terminal Operating System (TOS), including configuration, maintenance, and support. Maintain and optimize TOS configurations, parameters, and workflows to support operational requirements and system performance. Responsible for integrating the TOS with other systems and technologies used in the terminal. Oversee data management within the TOS, ensuring that cargo information, container tracking, and other relevant data are accurately recorded and available for analysis. Maintain data quality, master data governance, and operational reporting integrity. Monitor TOS performance, operational exceptions, and system health indicators. Conducting thorough testing of new features and enhancements to ensure they meet quality and reliability standards. Coordinate UAT activities and production deployment readiness with operational stakeholders. Ensuring that the TOS adheres to industry regulations and standards is crucial. Compliance with international shipping regulations and security standards is essential. Ensuring the security of the TOS is a critical role, as it involves safeguarding sensitive operational and customer data. Providing training and support to terminal staff is important. Ensure that users are proficient in using the system and can troubleshoot any issues that may arise. Coordinate vendor support activities, issue resolution, system enhancements, and service performance in accordance with agreed SLAs. Responsible for the implementation of Information Security (IS) and IT policies that reflect the organization's needs regarding the protection of information and assets and the integrity and privacy of the organization's intellectual property. REQUIREMENTS: - Physically and medically fit, normal color vision and good eyesight Possess a Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or an equivalent qualification. Minimum 5 years' experience within a container terminal environment. Experience in Terminal Operating System (TOS) configuration, support, testing, implementation, or operational system management. Experience managing system enhancements, upgrades, incident resolution, and user support activities. Experience working with cross-functional operational, IT, and vendor teams. Strong understanding of Terminal Operating Systems, operational workflows, and container terminal processes. Proficient in system configuration, administration, testing, release management, and troubleshooting. Good understanding of system integrations, interfaces, and operational data flows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend practical solutions. Experience in data analysis, reporting, and performance monitoring. Good understanding of IT infrastructure, databases, and application support principles. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and user engagement skills. Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple activities in a dynamic operational environment. Experience conducting user training, knowledge transfer, and super user development programs. Resourceful, well organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Computer literate with good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
