We are seeking a Grain Handler for a casual position to join our team at the Gladstone terminal. Full training will be provided in quality control, stock system, sampling and assessing. Terminal Operators at our port-side grain terminals are critical to ensuring that we deliver an efficient and safe service in exporting and importing grains and other commodities. This includes wheat, barley, sorghum, pulses, woodchips, cement, sand and other products.
The core activities of a terminal operator include rail and road receival, shipping, road-outloading, plant hygiene, container packing, bunker storage operations and grain assessing, among others. As a member of a multi skilled work environment you will be expected to take on other activities within the plant in accordance with training and experience.
We provide you with the tools and training required to perform your job effectively and safely.
