Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Terminal Operator at our Prince George Fuel Transload Facility.
This position requires on-site work and is based in Prince George, BC .
We are looking for someone that strives for continuous improvement, has terminal operations experience, and is reliable and safety conscious. If you have excellent communication and people skills as well as mechanical aptitude of terminal maintenance and repair, then this may be the right fit for you!

WHO YOU ARE:

You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:

  • Have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
  • A valid Drivers License.
  • 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in fuel product knowledge, fuel transfer, Top Tech TMS System and safe fuel loading knowledge is an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor terminal equipment including pumps, valves, meters, and loading arms
  • Unload gasoline and diesel railcars and load fuel trucks.
  • Perform maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on facility equipment according to established preventative maintenance programs while completing daily, monthly and annual checklists and inspections to maintain safety and compliance.
  • Provide guidance and communication to fuel truck drivers, contractors and internal team members with a focus on safety and compliance.
  • Assist the Operations Supervisor to ensure the terminal operational activities are executed safely
  • Complete Terminal Management System (TMS) product/changes, enter required information into the TMS database, “Scada” system activities, care and inventory of spare parts, and support any contractor/ FCL employee requirements.
  • Support the Supervisor and Manager in identifying and implementing process improvements and operational changes.
  • Understand and perform safety, environment and regulatory responsibilities such as hazard identification, equipment lock out, emergency response and safe work procedures
