Job Description SCF Lewis and Clark Terminals LLC is seeking a Terminal Supervisor for our terminals in Granite City, IL. In this position you will be responsible for the oversight of daily facility operations to ensure safe operations are carried out in a fiscally responsible manner while complying with company policies, government regulations, and expectations of both internal and external customers. What you will be doing: Supervising and managing the day-to-day activities of the terminal facility, including the loading and unloading of barges, railcars, and trucks Ensuring strict adherence to Ingram policies and procedures, participating in regular facility and safety audits to uphold the highest standards Maintaining daily tracking sheets to ensure accurate and up-to-date loading records, providing transparent and efficient record-keeping Directing and coordinating the efforts of various team members, including crane operators, forklift operators, locomotive operators, and general laborers, ensuring optimal productivity and safety. Leading and managing within a unionized environment, maintaining effective communication and fostering positive labor relations while ensuring compliance with union agreements and regulations. Identifying areas for operational improvement and working collaboratively with team members to implement effective solutions. Performing other duties as assigned or requested, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to supporting the overall success of the terminal facility and company. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: High School Diploma or GED 2 years of job-related experience required Proven experience in a supervisory role within a similar industrial setting Strong understanding of safety regulations and operational procedures Working knowledge of barge loading and unloading operations Sufficient knowledge in bulk handling methods Experience in railcar loading and railcar switching is preferred Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Must be able and willing to operate both indoor and outdoor across various weather conditions Ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds regularly May include weekends, nights, and being on-call Additional Information A competitive compensation package Comprehensive benefits including Medical/Prescription Drug plans, HSA, Vision, Dental and Health Care FSA.
