We are excited to have you join as our new Terminal Supervisor. You will play a critical role in the establishment and future operations of the new Terminal in Northern Vietnam. From construction supervision to commissioning and steady-state operations, the incumbent will support project execution, ensure readiness of operation systems, and later lead day-to-day terminal activities, focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Human Development, and Security. Nguyen Phu Thinh, Terminal Manager What you will do Phase 1: Pre-Operation – Construction & Commissioning Support Undergo comprehensive training at the current Terminal (~3 months), and understand current operations, systems, SOPs, and KPIs. Prepare operation readiness (staff training, SOP localization, system mapping) Support relocation of stock and setup of the Northern warehouse, follow up customer orders and logistics from the Northern warehouse Supervise construction progress, utilities setup, and facility handover Coordinate machine installation and commissioning alongside the Project Manager Phase 2: Operation Start & Management Manage production operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow to achieve the safety, quality, productivity, cost and moral Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards, maintain and improve Quality, Delivery, Cost and People performance metrics Supervise teams across warehouse, shipping, maintenance, and production areas, and foster team spirit through leadership and engagement activities Drive 5S, visual management, and continuous improvement (CIP, TQI, Kaizen), and drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs Manage asset and inventory control, traceability, and document systems, and manage material consumption, including power supply, packing materials, and other consumables Lead human development efforts (onboarding, skills matrix, performance follow-up) Monitor productivity, machine and equipment performance, and reporting Manage warehouse operations to optimize space utilization, safety, and inventory accuracy, coordinate transportation and logistics activities, including truck booking Support coordination with IT, procurement, and admin teams Who you are You hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in production, warehouse, or terminal operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role You possess strong knowledge of production planning, logistics, and warehouse management systems You have hands-on experience with process improvement tools such as Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma is preferred You are familiar with IT systems related to operations, reporting, and data analysis You have a good understanding of machine maintenance practices and equipment performance monitoring You possess excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience in training and developing teams You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure You have effective communication skills in both Vietnamese and English (written and spoken) You are proficient in MS Office applications; experience with ERP or similar systems is an advantage You have a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and commitment to workplace safety and compliance This is what we offer for you A meaningful job – We have an inspiring purpose ‘We create a future beyond fossils.
