JOB DESCRIPTION:

General support for terminal operations including dispatch, customer service and forklift operation

• Working as part of the Operations Team, establish, modify and execute the daily dispatch plan.
• Assist with customer service inquiries, and respond to voicemails and emails left after hours.
• Set appointments for deliveries and pickups, as needed.
• Update trip sheet records in the dispatch system, ensuring the accuracy of log hours and billing requirements.
• Day to day communication, via phone and text message, with drivers to ensure proper load instructions are passed along and carried out.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklift to transfer cargo in the warehouse, and helping to load trucks as needed.
