JOB OVERVIEW  This position is for a seasonal part-time Terrain Park Attendant. The Terrain Park Attendant will participate in the daily operations of Hoedown Hill’s (3) terrain parks and surrounding areas in accordance with established Hoedown Hill Terrain Park Standard Operating Procedures and safety protocols. This is a guest-facing position with a focus on providing an exceptional guest experience.     Essential Job Functions:    * Commitment to providing a safe experience for our guests and team members by adhering to all HoeDown Hill Standard Operating Procedures and safety policies. * Must demonstrate a strong commitment to punctuality and maintain consistent attendance to fulfill daily responsibilities. * Ability to learn and perform job tasks in all activities on Hoedown Hill * Consistently express a friendly, congenial, and helpful attitude while effectively providing guests and fellow employees with assistance, information, and directions * Provide exceptional guest experience: From operating activities to answering questions and helping guests navigate the experiences safely * Work as a team player with co-workers and in conjunction with other departments as needed * Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests throughout the day * Assist with special events and large groups * Knowledge of and compliance with all departmental HDH Terrain Park Standard Operating Procedures. * Daily setup and tear down of terrain parks, including signage, fencing, padding, safety inspections, and safety testing. * Installing and maintaining park signage, closures, trail markings, fencing, and banner tape. * Monitoring terrain features by visual inspection and testing according to the Department SOPs policy. * Maintaining ongoing monitoring and maintenance of terrain features and equipment in the parks throughout the operational day. * Assisting with special events, including the erection and maintenance of features & equipment. * Participate in user education and training. * Other duties as assigned   Job Requirements:   * Excellent communication skills * Must be a minimum of 18 years of age * Basic troubleshooting skills to identify problems and safety issues and the ability to execute resolutions On-Hill Environment:  * The primary physical environment in which this position works is outdoors with a high exposure level to cold, snow, wind, and rain. * The degree of strenuous activity within the job is high. Often lifting a weight of 25+ pounds throughout the day is common. * Additional strenuous physical activity may include walking or hiking on uneven, challenging terrain with equipment.   Expected Pay Range: $16-$18 per hour  Shift type: Part-Time, Weekends and Holidays
