Title: Terrain Park Groomer
Department: Mountain Operations
Reports to: Grooming Supervisor & Slopes and Roads Manager

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Terrain Park Groomer is responsible for operating the grooming machine safely and efficiently to produce the highest quality skiing, snowboarding, and sliding surface possible for Mt Seymour guests, and to create and maintain the Mt Seymour Terrain Parks.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will ensure the safe and efficient use of machinery including snow cats and implements to produce the final groomed product
• You will keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment, reporting and rectifying any unsafe acts
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of snowcats and other related work areas
• You will identify maintenance requirements on the snowcats and communicate with the Vehicle Maintenance Department & Heavy Duty Mechanics for repairs, additionally keep accurate records regarding the operation and maintenance of the snowcat
• You will identify the maintenance concerns of ski/snowboard runs
• Other related duties as required
