JOB OVERVIEW This position is a part-time Team Lead responsible for oversight of all aspects of daily operations, monitoring, and maintaining the terrain for the terrain park, focusing on employee management, safety, staff performance, and guest relationships, while maintaining a one-resort culture of excellence.    Essential Job Functions: * Commitment to providing a safe experience for our guests and team members by adhering to all safety policies and procedures * Knowledge of and compliance with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards * Understanding of LOTO awareness * Install and maintain terrain park signage, closures, park markings, fencing, and banner tape * Maintain ongoing monitoring and maintenance of terrain features and equipment in the parks * Monitor terrain features by visual inspection and testing according to company policy * Consistently express a friendly, congenial, and helpful attitude while effectively providing guests and fellow employees with assistance, information, and directions * Guiding your team to complete their tasks * Assist the Guest Services Manager with scheduling * Working knowledge of conveyor lift and/or snow tubing operations * Motivate employees and resolve issues * Serve as a conduit of communication between employees and the Snow Surfaces Manager * Report potential safety hazards to the Snow Surfaces Manager and Mountain Operations Administration * Provide exceptional guest experience: From operating activities to answering questions and helping guests navigate the experiences safely. * Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests throughout the day * Work as a team player with co-workers and in conjunction with other departments as needed * Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment * Train and lead a team of workers * Other duties as assigned   Job Requirements:  * High School or equivalent preferred * Proven experience as a supervisor or in a relevant role   * Excellent communication skills * First Aid/ CPR desirable. * Basic troubleshooting skills to identify problems and safety issues, and the ability to execute resolutions * Microsoft Office requires basic computer skills. * Ski/snowboarding ability desired * Able to work irregular hours and to maintain a high level of caution and situational awareness while performing duties * Must be a minimum of 17 years of age On-Hill Environment: * The primary physical environment in which this position works is outdoors with a high exposure level to cold, snow, wind, and rain. * The degree of strenuous activity within the job is high.   Often lifting a weight of 25+ pounds throughout the day is common. * Additional strenuous physical activity may include walking or hiking upon uneven, challenging terrain with equipment.   Expected Pay Range: $18-$20 per hour Shift type: Part-Time, Weekends, and Holidays
