SUMMARY:

The Territorial Office Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple clinical offices within their assigned territory. This role involves a blend of leadership, clinical support, and administrative duties. The Territorial Office Manager ensures efficient patient care delivery, staff management, and regulatory compliance, while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 3+ years of dermatology experience in a medical setting, prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Skills:
  • Thorough knowledge of medical terminology and billing coding (CPT and ICD-10)
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
  • Clinical skills and understanding of health promotion and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA guidelines

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leadership and Oversight:
  • Supervise and mentor Lead Medical Assistants and Lead Front Office staff.
  • Manage staff schedules, address call-ins/late arrivals, and provide coverage as needed.
  • Oversee staff training and development.
  • Visit each location regularly to provide support and communication.
  • Assist in setting up new locations.
  • Clinical Support:
  • Review patient charts to ensure timely notification of pathology and lab results.
  • Monitor provider charting completion and communicate with the Clinical Director as needed.
  • Adhere to the General Dermatology Medical Assistant job description.
  • Operational Management:
  • Manage supply orders for instruments and medical supplies.
  • Promote and oversee efficient patient care delivery.
  • Implement production, quality, and customer service standards.
  • Ensure adherence to staff policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Verify equipment functionality and request repairs.
