At STG we always encourage you to craft the career that makes you more.   Working for one of our world-class brands means being part of a great working environment, collaborating with people from all corners of the world on a product you are proud of.     Are you ready to craft the career that makes you more?   We are seeking an experienced B2B sales professional to represent our Market Leading Cigars on the East Lower Mainland of British Columbia (the preferred candidate will be in Surrey, Langley, Maple Ridge, Mission, Abbotsford or Chilliwack)     MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Increase sales in assigned accounts, call on prospective customers, establish buying cycles, and create a customer/supplier relationship (primarily retail outlets in both the mass market and specialty channels) Manage existing business accounts utilizing effective call strategies, conceptual selling, creative problem solving, promotional planning, and merchandising, etc. Develop business partnerships with all classes of trade to promote our market leadership Secure proper distribution with all channels of trade Manage and maintain records, files, and reports Prepare sales information for customers Secure and place orders, taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment Sell through allotted promotion programs in the require time frame Other duties that may become necessary     EDUCATION High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business preferred     EXPERIENCE Prior consumer packaged goods (CPG) sales experience preferred (2 years); experience with convenience channel consumer packaged goods will be given preference.     QUALIFICATIONS - Essential sales skills- Excellent written and oral communication skills - Demonstrated effective negotiation and closing ability - Strong analysis skills and solid judgment - Organization, attention to detail, and follow up are critically important - Ability to work well with minimal supervision as well as within a team environment - Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required and must be maintained - Valid Passport is required for yearly international meetings - Relevant college/university degree preferred but not required
