Job Information We have an immediate opening in our electrical division for a Territory Manager in either the Peoria, IL; Cedar Rapids, IA; or Dubuque, IA areas to call on a well-established book of accounts. Role & Responsibility Establish and maintain customer relationships in order to grow profitable business. Implement the Sales Playbook process to support sales, margin, forecasting and 4 star customer goals. Assists customers with problem solving, takeoffs, project layout/design and in quoting bills of material and project management as needed and with the assistance of our inside sales team. Prepares, generates and follows up on quotations and communicate with Inside sales to turn quotes into orders upon request. Cooperate with qualified suppliers to secure mutual business through joint calls. Execute sales efforts in an ethical and professional manner and maintain a professional image of self and work environment. Stay current on existing and emerging product and technologies including attending product training classes, trade shows and sales meetings. Introduce and demonstrate new products to assigned accounts. Report competitive conditions and feedback from customers to management. Develop an effective and productive working relationship with Inside Sales, Counter Sales and support personnel. Complete sales call and expense reports on a timely basis in accordance with company policy Other duties as assigned Requirements Job Requirement Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required Experience Required: 3-5 years of industry experience in a sales role with demonstrated sales success Experience using CRM software like salesforce, hubspot, etc Excellent time management skills and attention to detail Ability use Microsoft Suite of products; Word, Excel, Teams etc Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods of time working at a desk in front of computer screens Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, throughout the day. Ability to drive for extended periods of time. Ability to talk on the phone and type emails Work Environment Combination of office environment, driving, and customer facility environments.
