Territory Manager – Southern UKHoward Wright Europe Ltd
Location: Field-based, covering the Southern UK territory
Type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: £45,000–£55,000 base + performance-related OTE — plus company van, pension
About Us
Howard Wright Europe Ltd is a global specialist medical device company supplying patient transport equipment — hospital trolleys, stretchers, and related handling solutions — into NHS Trusts and private healthcare providers across the UK. As we continue to grow our footprint across the Southern UK region, we're looking for a driven, relationship-focused Territory Manager to lead sales growth and strengthen our presence with hospital procurement teams, clinical stakeholders, and NHS Supply Chain partners.
The Role
As Territory Manager for our Southern UK territory, you'll take ownership of the full sales cycle — from prospecting and building relationships with key decision-makers to product delivery and staff training. You'll be the face of Howard Wright across your patch, working closely with clinical engineering, procurement, and clinical teams to understand their needs and position our product range as the right solution.
Key Responsibilities
● Manage and grow the Howard Wright customer base across the Southern UK territory, targeting NHS Trusts, private hospitals, and healthcare facilities
● Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement leads, clinical staff, and key opinion leaders
● Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term accounts
● Deliver product demonstrations and training to clinical and procurement teams
● Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs
● Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline and forecast reporting
● Represent Howard Wright at relevant trade shows, exhibitions, and clinical events
● Work closely with the wider UK sales team to align territory strategy with broader business goals
What We're Looking For
● Proven track record in field sales, ideally within medical devices, healthcare equipment, or a related B2B capital equipment environment
● Experience selling into the NHS or public healthcare sector is highly advantageous
● Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
● Self-motivated and comfortable managing an autonomous, field-based role
● Full UK driving licence, willingness to travel extensively across the territory
● Excellent communication and presentation skills
● Familiarity with NHS procurement frameworks and tender processes is a plus
What We Offer
● Base salary £45,000–£55,000 + performance-related OTE
● Company van
● Pension scheme
● Full product and clinical training provided
● The opportunity to join a growing, specialist manufacturer with a strong reputation in patient handling equipment
