Purpose of the position  The Territory Sales Manager oversees sales activities within a specific geographic area, ensuring the company’s products and services are effectively promoted and sold. The role focuses on building strong customer relationships, increasing market share, and achieving revenue targets in the assigned territory           Main duties and responsibilities * Brief sales representatives on sales targets within a specific timeframe and guide them at every step to help them achieve those targets * Improve brand awareness in the designated territory to bring more sales for the company * Report to the head of sales of the company about the ongoing sales activity and achievement metrics * Discover business opportunities and improve sales strategies, analyze market trends, customer information, and competitor data * Cultivate and maintain positive connections with clients and important accounts * Identify new business opportunities by targeting potential clients and expanding market reach * Monitor sales performance within the territory and prepare regular reports on key metrics * Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.  * Provide feedback to management on market conditions and product performance * Assist is pricing strategies to remain competitive and profitable * Prepare and present monthly/ quarterly performance reports to senior management * Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and industry regulations *   Skills and competencies required * Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools * Skilled in persuasive communication and closing deals * Competence in pricing and contract negotiations * Understanding of market analysis and sales forecasting * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Effective presentation skills for meetings and pitches * Analytical thinking for evaluating sales data and making informed decisions * Flexibility to adapt to market changes and customer demands * Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment * Leadership skills to motivate and guide team members
