JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The TM will be responsible for driving revenue growth in his/her territory by building relationships with our customers (clinicians and hospitals) and promoting BD’s product portfolio. The TM will also be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and developing strategies to meet customer needs and increase market share. He/she will work closely with sales specialists and other internal stakeholders to ensure that we are providing the best possible support to our customers and achieving strong financial results.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Business or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows and physician preferences
  • Ability to travel frequently (>70%)

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve profitability and sales growth within their assigned territories.
  • Conduct regular field visits to clinical and non-clinical areas to promote BD products and services and identify potential new business opportunities.
  • Work with Sales Specialists and other internal resources to develop and implement local marketing initiatives (e.g., events, webcasts).
  • Monitor competitive activity and changes in the marketplace and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure timely submission of all required sales reports and paperwork including expense claims.
