Description

THE COMPANY

Thunderbird Ag is an award-winning Australian manufacturer specialising in animal management and livestock weighing systems. We’re a small but dedicated team, and we’re proud to supply Australian farmers with quality Australian made products through our rural reseller network.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Territory Manager to drive sales and manage key relationships with rural retail partners across our Northern New South Wales territory. This territory is well established and contains valued, long-term partnerships, as well as some exciting new opportunities. On a day-to-day basis you’ll be supporting our resellers through strategic initiatives, sales and technical support.
This role will be ideally located around Tamworth but there is some flexibility in terms of location as long as it is in the territory.

Ideally, you’ll come from a farming background or have some knowledge of rangeland livestock production. Or you might be working in the rural retail sector and wanting a new challenge. Either way, you’ll be provided with all the tools of the trade to succeed in this role, including technical and product training. We’d love to hear from you if you can tick most of these boxes:

  • Previous sales success (not a deal breaker as full training will be offered).
  • Proven ability to build rapport quickly with rural retail customers.
  • Comfortable with technology and the ability to relay technical solutions to a broad customer base.
  • A drive for success, a passion for results, highly driven, confident and resourceful.
  • A team player who enjoys contributing to dynamic business environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Happy to work autonomously and have a willingness to travel
