Based in Albury/Wodonga as a Territory Manager in our Refinish team, you will report to The National Sales Manager. Your primary objective will be to enhance the profitability of your assigned territory by cultivating and nurturing both new and existing partnerships. By driving the expansion of key customers and identifying new business opportunities, you will contribute to the overall growth and profitability of PPG across Albury/Wodonga and surrounding areas.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A strong emphasis on customer service is required.
  • Proficiency in technical knowledge of refinish & Industrial paint products and application techniques is desirable.
  • Having prior experience with competitor products can be advantageous.
  • Possessing a trade qualification in spray painting and refinish industry is desirable. Additionally, having negotiation and presentation skills is important.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve monthly and yearly sales goals and financial plans.
  • Oversee and supervise debtors/accounts receivable in accordance with PPG accounts policy.
  • Recognise users of competitive brands and create tactics to gain entry to showcase the advantages of using Refinish and LIC Commercial Performance Coatings products.
  • Assist distributor sales activities and ensure accurate recommendation and application of products while adhering to proper EH&S procedures.
  • Establish strong connections with PPG personnel and Distribution Network.
  • Enhance share of wallet, monitor, and assess growth of current customers and distributors.
  • Follow pricing initiatives/policies to provide the necessary profit contribution.
  • Establish and maintain strong connections with key customers and industry groups.
  • Identify opportunities and execute plans to expand in underrepresented segments and geographies.
