POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic heavy equipment sales professional to drive our agricultural and tree care business. Responsibilities
  • Customer Management: Develop and maintain accounts in the agriculture industry by organizing work schedules and itineraries to engage with current and potential customers.
  • Sales Process: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, quotes, and orders that align with customer needs and Vermeer Canada’s standards. Manage the entire pre-sale and post-sale process to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Support: Address and resolve customer issues by investigating problems and offering solutions that enhance their operations. Provide exceptional service to strengthen the Vermeer brand in the territory.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, sales forecasts, and business plans. Manage customer data and contribute to marketing programs and trade shows related to the agriculture industry.
  • Team Collaboration: Support team objectives by assisting colleagues and contributing to Vermeer’s overall goals.
  • Equipment Demonstration: Showcase equipment as needed, offering customers detailed information on operation, servicing, warranty, and parts.
  • Reporting: Submit detailed reports promptly, including MOT requirements, call reports, prospect lists, work plans, expense submissions, and vehicle reports.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor to foster ongoing customer relationships.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company policies and health and safety regulations.
