Responsibilities

Responsible for business development in the assigned territory through clinical activities including but not limited to:

  • Educational sessions on the use of BD products/systems
  • Training sessions on how to apply, use and interpret the technology
  • Assist with clinical studies and implement best practices
  • Working closely with the sales team to develop new accounts and maintain existing ones by providing technical advice and support to customers
  • Providing technical assistance to distributors as required
  • Supporting tender opportunities by providing product information and conducting product demonstrations
  • Assisting in the identification and resolution of customer issues and complaints
  • Assessing the needs of customers and identifying potential new markets
  • Promoting the safe and effective use of BD products
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders, hospital management, and staff at all levels within the healthcare community
  • Keeping up-to-date records on all aspects of territory business
  • Maintaining knowledge of competitors’ activities and products
  • Managing expenses e.g., travel, entertainment, gifts etc.
