We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Territory Manager (Sales) to represent BD’s Vascular Access Product Portfolio. In this role, you will have exposure to BD’s entire Vascular Access products, with a primary focus on PIVC (peripherally inserted venous catheter), PIVC with guidewire, midlines, PICC’s (peripherally inserted central catheters), and enabling technologies. Your primary call points will include IV Therapy, ER, Nursing, Infection Prevention, Materials Management, Value Analysis, and other Nursing departments.

Requirements

  • Sell the entire product line to current and new accounts
  • Inform customers of new and current pricing, backorders, and company policies
  • Provide comprehensive in-service training of products to all concerned individuals
  • Plan sales calls effectively, managing your time efficiently
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of all products
  • Inform the District Manager of significant market changes and competitive activity
  • Resolve customer complaints and analyze customer needs to create solutions
  • Collaborate with Clinical Specialists to effectively train appropriate customers
  • Complete all administrative duties associated with the position in a timely manner
  • Attain sales goals established by the company
  • Cultivate new and existing customers to establish long-term, mutually beneficial relationships
  • Work a flexible schedule and travel to meet the needs of customers
  • Work closely with National Account Managers and Corporate RVPs regarding accounts within your assigned geography
  • Sell all new products launched by the Division

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in outside sales required.
  • Demonstrated history of success in an outside sales role
  • Proven ability to effectively build and sustain professional relationships externally and internally
  • Strong persuasion and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated human relation and communication skills
  • Understands contract administration
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license and meet BD’s auto safety standards.
