POSITION SUMMARY:

The Territory Manager, ICI, is accountable to the ICI Sales Manager – Ontario, and is expected to achieve sales specific objectives and cultivate strategic partnerships and growth opportunities.
The Territory Manager, ICI combines technical knowledge with sales abilities to sell products and services and respond effectively to customer inquiries within an assigned geographical area.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Drive Sales Growth and Market Expansion: Achieve sales targets by identifying new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and executing territory-specific growth strategies.
  2. Manage and Develop Customer Relationships: Build long-term partnerships by understanding customer needs, delivering tailored solutions, and providing exceptional service and support.
  3. Support Marketing and Brand Initiatives: Represent the company at industry events, support regional marketing efforts, and provide market feedback to align campaigns with customer and business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-Secondary education; College Diploma or University Degree.
  • 3-5 years of outside sales experience, including cold-calling, Business to business and Business to customer.
  • ICI Building products/materials and construction sales experience would be considered an asset.
  • Excellent and persuasive communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proven track record for increasing sales and revenue.
  • High degree of proficiency with MS Office and other computer programs.
  • Experience working in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Selling a full range of Vicwest’s products and services in a competent and professional manner.
  • This includes systematic and conscientious coverage of customers in assigned territory.
  • Will be responsible for meeting sales targets to achieve organizational goals.
  • Developing and growing long-term relationships with customers.
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements, and speaking with customers to understand, anticipate and meet their needs.
  • Calculating customer quotations.
  • Discover sales opportunities through customer research and updating Salesforce CRM and Project/Opportunity pipeline on an a daily basis.
  • Negotiating tender and contract terms to meet both the customer and company needs.
  • Offering after-sales support and services.
  • Supporting marketing activities by attending tradeshows, conferences and other marketing events.
  • Submission of weekly planning sheet, weekly and or monthly summary reports, expense claims and call reports of sales activity and further action. Will be required to do presentations to the management team, the sales team and customer regarding products and territory updates.
  • Liaising with other members of the sales, technical services, credit and operations teams to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Attend national training programs/seminars that support new account sales and growth initiatives. Works with the ICI Sales Manager in order to contribute to the formulation of sales policies and strategies and participates in weekly meetings.
  • Implements Vicwest sales plans, marketing, pricing, and distribution strategies for Insulated Metal Panel market streams as appropriate to the assigned territory.
