We are seeking a skilled Territory Sales and Business Development Professional to drive profitable growth in decorative panels and component solutions through regional distributors, kitchen cabinet and closet OEMs, and the commercial millwork and manufactured housing industries. This person would service the Ohio Valley (OH, KY, TN, and MI) territory. Primary Responsibilities: Drive Sales Through Distribution: Promote TFL panels and other complementary products through new and existing decorative surface regional distributors. Drive Sales Through Manufactured Housing, Kitchen Cabinet & Closet OEMs: Promote laminated panels, specified processed component solutions, cabinet doors and drawer parts to the OEM industries we serve Engagement and Development: Cultivate long-term sales relationships with key stakeholders in kitchen cabinet and closet OEMs, focusing on decorative panels, cabinet doors, drawer parts, and other component solutions. Market Analysis: Collaborate with the marketing team to conduct competitive analyses of decorative surface market trends, designs, and identify new market opportunities. Collaboration with Product Teams: Work with internal product teams to develop pricing strategies, analyze market information, and make recommendations for business development growth, new products, competitive analysis, and emerging business opportunities. Strategic Planning: Create and maintain strategic business development plans, ensure CRM updates are accurate, and diligently manage sales opportunities with customers and internal partners. Reporting Relationships: This position reports to the Vice President of Industrial Sales & Product. Key Performance Measures: Total Revenue New Business Sales Revenue Profit Margins Customer Loyalty Opportunity Pipeline Position Success Factors: Intentional and strategic business development growth Strong relationship-building skills with critical stakeholders, both internal and external Highly organized multitasker with a creative, solutions-oriented mindset Ability to understand the "big picture" and prioritize daily activities effectively Active participation in the development and implementation of company initiatives Maintain, defend, and improve margins on existing business Qualifications The ideal candidate will be an outstanding business leader with a proven track record of delivering sales results. You should possess the following skills and experience: 5-10 years of sales experience in distribution, kitchen cabinet OEMs, manufactured housing, and commercial millwork industries Comprehensive experience in TFL business development through distribution channels Proficiency in selling highly specified, value-added composite wood products Strong executive presence and a passion for engaging directly with customers and prospects Excellent computer skills for managing sales database tracking programs Education: An undergraduate degree in business, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
