JOB SUMMARY The Territory Sales Manager 2 (TSM 2) is responsible for meeting/exceeding their sales targets within a defined territory.  A territory can be defined both by geography (states/counties) and/or Customers. The TSM is responsible for growing their geographic region by direct sales to customers, and by working with and managing manufacturers reps and distribution partners as applicable. This includes identifying opportunities, new customers, new programs, using relationship selling and demand creation. The TSM is the local Marki Microwave presence for the customer and supports all facets of the sales process to ensure a positive customer experience. They are responsible for maintaining a monthly forecast and working with the inside sales team to resolve any customer-related issues. This role will require access to access information controlled under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR, 15 CFR §§ 730-780),and likely the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR, 22 CFR §§ 120-130), and so applicants for this position must be one of a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or other Protected Individual (as defined under 8 USC § 1324b(a)(3)). Candidate should live in the Boston Metro Area ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage and lead sales activities needed to meet/exceed revenue targets. * Build opportunity sales funnel for territory growth. * Maintain a CRM database of opportunities including contacts, engagements, and actions to drive opportunities to design wins. * Develop Account Plans for key accounts, including competitive landscape and available market. * Develop customer relationships with key contacts within territory. * Work closely with Applications Support, Inside Sales personnel, senior management, and other staff to support customer needs. REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field; or equivalent experience.  * Ten years of prior electronic component industry experience * Familiarity with the RF/Microwave market segment and target applications  * Customer familiarity and relationships in territory * Successful sales/business development growth history with demonstrated ability to identify and close opportunities ABOUT MARKI MICROWAVE Shattering Performance Barriers Since 1991.
