Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and personable Territory Sales Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in driving sales within the designated territory, focusing on the transportation industry. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, self-initiator with a passion for sales, capable of nurturing relationships and creating new business opportunities through proactive outreach efforts, both independently and in collaboration with our distributors and wholesalers.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in wholesale distribution sales, sales manager or similar role, preferably in manufacturing or transportation.
  • Profecient in Office 365 and comfortable with a CRM/ERP (Acumatica)
  • Familiarity or interest in the transportation industry is highly preferred.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory (valid passport and driver’s license required, with the ability to travel to the United States).
  • Comfortable with occasional weekend travel for trade shows and distributor events.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities effectively.
  • Team player mindset, contributing to the overall growth of Counteract.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).

Responsibilities
  • Manage all sales activities within the assigned territory to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our customer base and increase market share, while supporting and growing our distributor network with Counteract products.
  • Identify and qualify prospects through cold calling, networking, and participation in industry events.
  • Build enduring relationships with customers, distributors, and key decision makers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted sales campaigns.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
  • Record and input data into CRM/ERP system
    Additional Role Details: The candidate will either work from our head office or remotely depending on their geographic location. This role also requires travel throughout North America and the ability to be away from home. Office duties will include customer support, service, product development, and contributing to marketing strategies.
