JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Sales professional to join our dynamic team and support our amazing customers in the area. A typical day involves strategically focusing on key accounts to help them build business through training, on jobsite visits, and sales process follow up. Many accounts are long-time customers and include building material dealers, building material distributors, developers, builders and contractors.
This is an excellent position for applicants that may wish to graduate from building materials retail positions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Live in the Greater Toronto Area
  • Excellent communication skills are critical for this position
  • Experience building relationships with senior level managers, buying decision makers and owners
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
  • Understanding of building industry and construction industry an asset
  • Proven team player
  • Basic Microsoft skills
  • Basic CRM software skills
  • Basic technology skills (ability to use apps on an iPhone)

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Reliable Vehicle (the territory area is all of Ontario and daily travel is required)
  • On the road and away from the office 95% of the time
  • Overnight travel
  • Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
  • Maintaining a clean driving record is a condition of employment
  • Potential for US travel for training so a Valid Passport is required

EDUCATION

  • Minimum Highschool diploma
  • Post secondary school in business or building industry is an asset
  • Sales training is an asset
