Description
Crown Lift Trucks New Zealand is proud of its history of serving New Zealand’s businesses and communities for the past 42 years. Crown Lift Trucks is one of the world’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of lift trucks / forklifts and is a trusted brand with a reputation for quality and customer satisfaction. With 15 branches and around 300 employees throughout New Zealand, we are one of the biggest names in lift truck supplies. The role We’re looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join our Sales team in our Lower North Island region, and lead our team of four Sales and Aftermarket Sales Reps to greater success! With a knowledgeable and experienced team around you, you’ll be well supported to succeed! This is a diverse and exciting role which will see you providing a high level of support and development to your team, ensuring retention and growth for the region through the Sales function. Based in either Wellington or Palmerston North, responsible for the entire Lower North Island region (including Hastings and New Plymouth), and reporting to the Regional Manager – Branch Operations LNI, this role will be responsible for achieving monthly and annual Sales budgets and KPI’s, through effective management of the team, with a focus on customer retention, quote conversion, lead generation and proactive service sales growth. The role will develop and implement strategies that improve customer engagement, strengthen customer loyalty, increase chargeable service revenue, and maximise cross-selling opportunities across the company’s range of products and services. There is lots of flexibility in the role and you will work closely with our operations, rentals and support teams around the region. This is a role where regular travel will be required across the region, but we are a company that is mindful of family time, too! About you To shine in this role, you’ll bring your energetic and enthusiastic self to work every day, with a strong customer-centric & solutions-focused attitude and great communication skills. You will have your own proven success in a B2B sales role and also be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and success in developing and leading high-performing teams. Being organised and business-savvy is important, as is your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with your internal and external stakeholders. To really understand and relate to our customers, a background or knowledge in the Forklift or mechanical or heavy automotive industry would be advantageous, however it’s not absolutely essential. What we can offer you In return, we’ll offer you a market-related salary with a commission structure and quarterly incentives based on your team’s KPI’s and sales achievements, company vehicle, laptop & phone and excellent opportunities for on-going training and development - not to mention a strong and collaborative team environment. As Crown Lift Trucks New Zealand is part of the global Crown business, there are great opportunities for on-going career development and progression. Please note, a full pre-employment medical, including a drug test, will be required and you must currently be legally entitled to live and work in New Zealand. A current full NZ drivers’ licence is required.
