Responsibilities

As the Territory Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing strong, productive relationships with all dealerships
  • Advising and providing feedback to corporate leadership on trends in the industry
  • Working with dealers and customers to lead product start-ups at time of first use
  • Training and assisting dealer sales representatives on product, pricing, and orders
  • Spearheading participation in trade shows, demonstrations and customer clinics
  • Resolving dealer concerns, problems and frustrations as they arise
  • Assisting the service department in resolving customer complaint

The following qualifications will be needed to succeed in this role:

  • Degree/diploma in agriculture, agribusiness, business, or agricultural/mechanical engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and recommend innovative ideas and solutions
  • Readily able to establish and develop strategic relationships and partnerships
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills and customer service skills
  • Sound leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence people and manage projects
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Familiarity with Bourgault products, along with technical aptitude & experience with precision ag systems/monitors is a strong asset
  • Willing to work from a home office, located within or near your assigned sales territory (Manitoba/Southeast Saskatchewan)
  • Willing to travel (on average, 75% of time is spent traveling
