Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales professional to join our team. As a Territory Sales representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within your assigned geographical area.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or technical sales preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems preferred.\
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in food science, sales, business administration, marketing or related field preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Responsibilities
  • Service existing customers and expand sales among them, while also establishing new customers within the assigned territory.
  • Address customer issues to ensure effective and long-term problem resolution.
  • Develop an understanding of the product lines and equipment offerings available through Kelley Supply.
  • Develop a system of communication with customer accounts and other key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Investigate potential leads, establish prospects, and qualify leads keeping track of progression within CRM software.
  • Utilize Company CRM tools and ERP system to track sales and business account activities and capture key data.
  • Work with credit, customer service and purchasing to ensure smooth and timely handling of customer activities.
  • Coordinate development of special projects and proposals.
  • Continually analyze sales results and trends to meet customer and Company needs.
  • Work with the VP of Sales to achieve the company sales budget for your territory and be responsible for meeting these goals.
  • Collaborate with your assigned customer service rep to ensure adherence to processes and procedures, focusing on CRM activities, order fulfillment, quality processes, and daily/weekly communication.
  • Follow up on slow-moving, new products and special-order items for your customers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
